NOVEMBER 2ND , 2008 AT PROVIDENCE COLLEGE

The Friar Fall Classic is a lacrosse SHOWCASE 8 v 8 tournament held on the campus of Providence College.  Games are played on Mini Fields increasing the action and scoring.  The Asto-Turf Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex has a state of the art sound system that will get you pumped to play your best lacrosse!  

Teams will play set schedule so college coaches will know who is where and when.

Games start at 10AM

140 HS players were at the 2007 Fall Classic at Providence College including teams from:

Ridgefield HS

Sachem North HS

E Mass Minutemen

Shrewsbury HS

Xaverian Brothers

Fairfield Prep

The Hill School

North Highlands HS

Team Friar I & II & III

Teams:  teams consist of 2 attack, 3 midfielders, 2 defenders and a goalie.  all teams must have at least two subsititutes.

Ages: boys ages 15-19 

Individual or team sign up:  you can sign up with your own team or as an free agent to be placed on a team

Times: 10am to 4pm

Schedule:  Teams will play round-robin games.  The top four teams will be selected to play-off for a championship at the end of the day.

Surface: Providence Lacrosse Complex has a high quality astro turf carpet surface.  No cleats will be allowed on the turf.
